The remarkable staff and individuals involved with Total never cease to impress me with their skill, belief in the business and pride in their work; our growth can only be attributed to their efforts.

We've come a long way in 8 years and 2020 will see even more events, more franchises (including the launch of Total Guide to Poole this Spring), new site functionality and we have already welcomed a diverse mix of new clients. Our efforts have also resulted in site traffic continuing to rise (by 19% in the last year with 246,000 unique monthly visitors).

To celebrate 8 years of Total Guide to, we've rounded up our eight founding advertisers of the business who have been here since the very beginning!

Eight Founding Advertisers to celebrate Eight Years of Total:

1. Wyvern Theatre - A 635 seat auditorium showing theatre plays, pantomimes, comedy performances, and dance shows as well as offering business opportunities. Total Swindon has always worked closely with the Wyvern Theatre who are Entertainment sponsors and recently upgraded their package so we can promote them further!

2. inSwindon BID - Leaders of Swindon Town Centre, providing support for local Swindon businesses. inSwindon BID was one of the very first BIDs established in 2007, and we have been supporting them in their aim to improve the Swindon Town Centre for eight years now, and will continue to do so!

​

3. National Self Build & Renovation Centre - The NSBRC is the UK's only permanent exhibition centre for self-build renovation and home improvements. They run quarterly Shows throughout the year as well as lots of workshops throughout the year which we have worked collaboratively with on videos, events and so much more, as well as sponsoring our website Property section!

4. Longs Bar - One of Swindon's longest established bars, Longs Bar is a popular Old Town gem known for their delicious burgers and tasty cocktails. Longs Bar is a long-time client of Total's and we continue to proudly promote their exciting events and extensive food and cocktail menu!

5. Barnes Travel - A well-established travel company, providing UK and European holidays and day trips across the country by coach, as well as private hire for special occasions! We're really proud to work with Swindon's largest coach operator and we love promoting their excellent value for money trips!

6. Roves Farm - A family favourite of many, including the youngest member of Team Total (Liz's daughter Flo, aged 2!) We work closely with Roves Farm, which is a local working farm open for visitors located on the outskirts of Swindon, producing fun videos and attending fantastic events throughout the year!

7. New College - New College is one of Swindon's leading providers for A-Levels, Apprenticeships and Degree level courses, so we're incredibly proud to work with them! We work closely with New College to promote their excellent courses, open days and events to local people and will continue to do so!

 

8. Pebley Beach - Specialising in Suzukis and Hyundai car models, Pebley Beach is a well-established Swindon dealership who sponsor Total Swindon's Motoring section. We work closely with them to promote their excellent services and value for money!
